How the Ball Balls Dropped: Indiana Couldn't Handle the Truth

Celtics (99), Pacers (88)
And the streak hits 13. Pierce did his share of the passing in lieu of Rondo's absence, getting his 7th career triple-double. Since 13 is an unlucky number, does that mean they'll lose their next game? but that next game will be the 14th if ever they win it, so that's not unlucky. It's the whole chicken and egg thing!

Suns (113), Thunder (110)
Looks like the Suns won't need their new trade acquisitions after all. Grant Hill played like it was the "Grant-Hill-drinks-Sprite" era all over again, scoring a season high 30pts, and the Suns managed to eke out a win over the streaking Thunder. Can we suggest a "Comeback Player of the Year" award for the NBA?

Lakers (120), Raptors (110)
The Lakers are starting to look scary. Bynum finally got a bit more burn, getting over 17minutes, and produced 16pts and 7rbds. Watch out NBA. Oh, and the Raptors played too. Though I still don't get why they don't play Jerryd Bayless more. Marcus Thornton to the Hornets is Bayless to the Raptors, yes?

Nets (89), Hawks (82)
Whoa-ho-ho! I told you Mr. Sharapova will be deadly. He lead the Nets reserves that outscored the Hawks counterparts 30-11, with 10pts, 6rbds, 3assts, and 3stls. After he gets rid of his Lakers shoes, he could be Mr. Newark soon.

Pistons (111), Hornets (108) OT
The Pistons were without 40% of their starting line-up. (good thing Basketball is played with only 5 people. I can make number to percentage references easily), yet managed to win in overtime by a 21 point explosion of Will Bynumite off the bench, and a timely steal by Jason Maxiell. COME ON MONTY! FREE MARCUS THORNTON!!!

Rockets (102), Kings (93)
Demarcus Cousins finally learned to use his size, lording over the smaller frontcourt of Houston. But the Rockets just played with a better all around game, lead by the former King Kevin Martin (22pts), and 4 bench players scoring 9pts each (including the returning Aaron Brooks). The Kings continue to lose, this being their fifth straight, as Tyreke Evans continues to play through his injury, as the team continues to wear purple. Just thought you'd like to know.
